This Monday evening, Wednesday morning and Friday morning
Participants will do eather shor or long excercises this week in drawing and or painting. According to your experience and preferences we will concentrate on:

1) Perspective and the construction of the ellipse (circel in persepective)
Although some of you will like to work for period in just one material/ technique others want to deepen their knowledge of setting up a perspective 'correct' still life. The simple perspective guidelines for setting up an ellipse (circle in perspective) will be a possible subject.

2) How to mix the colour you see? Colour mix excercises in the material of your choice in a still life setup.
For those who like to continue in oil paint material studies it's advised to start oilpaint mixing colours excercises: looking at the colours in the still life and try to mix them in sequential steps explained in the lesson.

3) Your very own project.
It is possible and encouraged to formulate your own project. The teacher will guide you in your drawing and painting process. It's possible to bring and leave your own canvas and materials or use the materials supplied by the studio.

Start your private Andy Warhol 'factory' project or just the project you always wanted to start.

Choose your own theme, bring your own painting or leave the subject and motive to the teacher.

Please consider that during portrait and model classes it is possible to work on your traditional or experimental subject, ofcourse without the contribution for the model. Several atelier spaces can be used during the same time period.

Wednesday evening 19.00- 22.00 11-18, Life figure drawing/ painting.

This Wednesday November 18th., 19.00 -22.00, model: Maria Mavridou (dancer/ performer):
This Wednesday we will work with an experienced model and study (again) the sequence of steps of building up a drawing after figure called life drawing/ painting. It's not mentioned to produce a beautifull drawing but to build up your knowledge of anatomy, proportion, balance and technical drawing skills. After warming up with short excercises: 5 x 1 minute, 2 x 5 minute and 1 x 15 minute we will work on a longer study for the remainding session.

More possibilities :
Although the theme of Wednesday evening is Life figure drawing it's ofcourse possible to train and study in painting or drawing the portrait.

Friday evening 11-20: Doubleportraiture (double fun), study of Face characteristics from a close position.

This Friday evening 11-20, 19.00 - 22.00, Special double portaiture sessions. Models: Thoth and Lila'Angelique, to study portraiture characterisics from a close position. Although double the contribution for the models will be as normal (5 euro).
To make it possible to have a close position when drawing or painting the face and it's underlying architecture we will work with two models sitting back to back with the class participants arranged arround the two models on chairs and easels. The models will be placed on a higher level so all participants will have a good view.

Thoth & Lila'Angelique are extra ordinary performers. On their travel through Europe they will pose for us Friday evening, November 20th. 19.00 - 22.00.

Wednesday- or Friday evening good for experiment?

A suggestion for those who want to express themself during Portraiture and Life drawing/ painting:
Examine the color palette, brush stroke, composition, technique of some German Expressionsist and let your inspire yourself by there self-learned technique of early 20th. century.
