Some examples of the work participants made during the one week intensive Summercourse oilpainting at CREA Amsterdam (2012, July 9 - July 13). Painting in oils: life painting, portrait and still life. Theme: expression in colour. Method: alla prima (direct painting).

The workweek was open to all levels of experience and interest. Workweek as follows: Monday morning introduction excercise in oil paint after life portraiture. Monday afternoon first model session. Tuesday morning model session. Tuesday afternoon still life. Wednesday morning self portrait or still life. Wednesday afternoon off. Thursday morning model session. Thursday afternoon guided tour in the museum Hermitage Amsterdam. Friday morning still life/ self portrait. Friday afternoon model session/ still life or self portrait. Friday evening vernisage of the weeks effort. Most of the participants didn't had any (regular) exprerience with oilpaint, life painting nor alla prima techniques. Many thanks to the inspiring models who are professionals in the field of dance, mime and theater.
